What is 1000 Hives?
1000 Hives places permanent beehives on working farms across Australia. Every hive is maintained by a certified, paid beekeeper under strict biosecurity protocols. Every inspection is GPS logged and photographed. The honey produced funds the growth of the network.
A corporate partnership puts your brand on those hives. In return, you receive branded honey, ready-made marketing content, verifiable impact data for ESG reporting, and a genuine conservation story your customers and stakeholders can verify independently.
This is not a donation. It is not a sponsorship logo on a website. It is a commercial partnership with tangible deliverables and full accountability.
Partnership tiers
All partnerships run for 12 months and renew annually. No lock-in contracts. Every tier includes branded honey, content, and impact reporting. Higher tiers add deeper engagement, exclusivity, and dedicated support.

Founding partner status
Be one of the first five.
This is a Champion-tier benefit. Our first five partners at the $50,000/yr Champion level receive Founding Partner status at no additional cost. It is not a separate tier or an upsell. It is a reward for being early. Once the five spots are filled, this status is permanently closed.
What Founding Partners get that other Champions do not:
Founding Partner status is awarded in order of commitment. Once the five spots are filled, they do not reopen, even if a Founding Partner later leaves the program.

Supporter tier
$10,000 per year + GST
5 branded hives on a working farm
The Supporter tier is designed for businesses that want a real, verifiable conservation partnership without the complexity of a large-scale engagement. Your hives are assigned within the first month, branded signage and your social media photo kit arrive within three months, and honey and your impact summary follow at the end of the year. It is a genuine entry point, not a watered-down version of the higher tiers.
What you receive
Branded hive signage
Your company logo is displayed on all 5 of your hives on the farm. These are permanent, weatherproof signs visible in all farm photography and video content. When we photograph your hives, your brand is in the frame.
Logo on website partners page
Your company logo and a short description appear on our corporate partners page, linking back to your website. This is a permanent listing for the duration of your partnership, updated annually.
Quarterly email updates
Every three months you receive a photo update from your farm showing the current state of your hives, seasonal activity, and any notable events. These are designed to be forwarded internally or shared on your channels with minimal editing.
4 social media mentions per year
We tag and mention your business across our social media channels four times per year, timed around key moments: partnership launch, honey harvest, seasonal updates, and your annual impact summary. We provide you with the post copy and assets in advance so your team can reshare.
Branded honey
Premium Australian honey harvested from your hives, labelled with your company logo. Delivered once per year, typically late summer or autumn. The Supporter tier allocation is approximately 24 jars (250g each). Use them as client gifts, staff rewards, event giveaways, or reception displays. People remember the business that gave them real honey from a real conservation project.
Social media photo kit
A curated set of high-quality photos of your branded hives on the farm, delivered within the first 3 months of your partnership. Includes landscape and square crops sized for LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook, plus suggested captions. Use them to announce your partnership, share on your company page, or include in internal communications. Refreshed annually with new seasonal shots.
Annual impact summary
At the end of your 12-month partnership, you receive a one-page impact summary showing: number of hives maintained, colony health status, estimated pollination area, inspection count, and beekeeper hours. Formatted as a clean, shareable document you can include in internal communications or your annual report.
Best suited for
Small to mid-size businesses looking for a genuine sustainability initiative with real deliverables. Professional services firms wanting a memorable client gift strategy. Companies exploring corporate conservation partnerships for the first time.
Partner tier
$20,000 per year + GST
10 branded hives on a working farm
The Partner tier is our recommended level for mid-size to large businesses. It includes everything in Supporter plus a significantly deeper content offering, a named beekeeper relationship, farm visits, the Bee Ambassador program, and ESG-ready impact data. This is the tier where your marketing team gets a full content pipeline and your sustainability team gets real data.
Everything in Supporter, plus
Named beekeeper
You are introduced to the beekeeper who manages your hives by name. You receive their photo and a short bio. This personal connection makes your partnership story significantly more powerful when shared with customers, staff, and stakeholders. You are not funding an abstract program. You are supporting a specific person doing specific work on a specific farm.
Social media launch campaign
A complete 90-day social media campaign kit delivered to your marketing team when your partnership begins. Includes a content calendar with scheduled post dates, 12+ ready-to-post social tiles (formatted for Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook), pre-written captions for each post that you can customise with your brand voice, a LinkedIn article draft announcing your partnership, an internal announcement template for your team, and a newsletter paragraph you can drop straight in. Your marketing team gets a full campaign without briefing an agency. Refreshed quarterly with new seasonal content packs after the initial launch.
Short-form video
One 60-90 second video per year, filmed on your farm with your branded hives. Shot on location by our team during a scheduled inspection. The video shows your hives, your beekeeper, and the farm environment. Delivered in vertical (9:16) and landscape (16:9) formats, ready for social media, internal presentations, or your website. No additional production cost on your end.
Branded impact report
A comprehensive annual report, formatted with your company branding (logo, colours, fonts). Covers: hive count, colony health metrics, pollination impact estimates, biosecurity compliance, inspection records, and beekeeper activity hours. Designed to be included directly in your ESG or sustainability reporting without reformatting. We provide the data. You drop it into your report.
Monthly social media features
Your brand is featured on our social channels once per month (12 times per year). This includes tagged posts, story mentions, and content collaborations. We coordinate timing with your team to align with your marketing calendar where possible.
Larger branded honey allocation
The Partner tier receives approximately 60 jars (250g each) of premium branded honey per year. This is enough for client gifts at key accounts, staff rewards, event giveaways, and reception displays. Larger quantities or custom packaging can be arranged at cost.
Guided farm visit (up to 10 people)
A half-day guided visit to the farm where your hives are located. Your team meets the beekeeper, sees the hives up close, learns about biosecurity protocols, and experiences the conservation work first hand. We handle all logistics including scheduling, safety briefing, and protective equipment. Our farms are currently in the Adelaide Hills, South Australia. Travel to and from the farm is your responsibility. We recommend combining it with a team off-site or client event.
Bee Ambassador session
A 30 minute virtual presentation delivered to your team by one of our beekeepers, live from the farm. They walk your staff through the hives their company is funding, explain the biosecurity challenges facing Australian bees, and answer questions. It is not a pre-recorded video. It is a live connection to the work. Available via Zoom, Teams, or Google Meet. We handle scheduling and tech setup.
ESG-ready impact data
Your impact report includes biodiversity metrics aligned with the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD) framework. This includes pollinator population data, foraging area estimates, crop dependency mapping, and biosecurity compliance records. Climate reporting under the Australian Sustainability Reporting Standards (ASRS) is already mandatory for large companies. Nature-related disclosures are expected to follow. Our data gives you a head start on both.
Best suited for
Mid-size to large businesses with active marketing and sustainability teams. Companies that want a steady stream of content assets throughout the year. Organisations with ESG or sustainability reporting obligations. Businesses that value employee engagement and team experiences.
Champion tier
$50,000 per year + GST
25 branded hives (a full farm apiary)
The Champion tier is a strategic partnership for national brands. You get a full farm apiary named after your company, a dedicated account manager, professional video production, exclusive honey varieties, client entertainment on the farm, and founder-level access. This is designed to be a centrepiece of your sustainability strategy, not a line item in your marketing budget.
Everything in Partner, plus
Naming rights on a farm apiary
Your 25 hives form a complete apiary on a single farm, branded as "The [Your Company] Apiary." This is permanent signage at the farm entrance and on all hives for the duration of your partnership. It appears in all content, video, and reporting. When media, visitors, or stakeholders visit the farm, your name is on the apiary. This is not a logo placement. It is naming rights on a real, operational conservation site.
Dedicated account manager
A single point of contact on our team who handles everything: content delivery, honey logistics, farm visit coordination, reporting, and any custom requests. You communicate directly with them via email or phone. No support inbox. No ticket system. At $50,000 you get a person, not a process.
Co-branded video content
Professional video content filmed on location at your farm. This goes beyond the short-form video in the Partner tier. Champion partners receive a full production shoot (half day on farm) with a professional camera operator. Deliverables include a 2-3 minute brand story video, 3-4 short-form social clips (15-30 seconds each), and raw footage you can use in your own productions. Suitable for your website, AGM presentations, internal all-hands, social media, and media pitches.
Annual impact video
A dedicated 2-3 minute video produced at the end of each partnership year, summarising your impact. Features farm footage, beekeeper interview, your branded hives, and your key impact numbers presented visually. Designed to be played at your AGM, board presentation, company all-hands, or shared on your website and social channels. We produce it. You present it.
Dedicated partner page on our website
A full page on the 1000 Hives website dedicated to your partnership. Includes your company logo, partnership story, farm photos, key impact metrics, and a link to your website. This is a permanent, public-facing page for the duration of your partnership that you can link to from your own communications, press releases, and ESG reports.
Featured case study
A professionally written case study published on our website and shared across our channels. Covers who your company is, why you partnered, what the hives have achieved, and the results. Includes photos, quotes from your team, and real impact data. Your marketing team can link to it, share it with media, or include it in pitch decks. It is third-party proof that your sustainability commitment is real.
Quarterly strategy call with our founder
Four times per year, you get a direct call with the 1000 Hives founder to discuss how the partnership is tracking, upcoming opportunities, and how to get more value from it. Want to tie the partnership into a product launch? Planning a client event on the farm? Thinking about scaling to more hives? This is where those conversations happen. Champion partners get founder-level access, not a support channel.
Exclusive seasonal honey varieties
Champion partners get first access to limited seasonal honey harvests. Different farms produce different varietals depending on the surrounding flora: ironbark, yellow box, blue gum, and more. These are small-batch, single-origin honeys that are not available to other tiers or the general public. Use them as premium client gifts or limited-edition giveaways. Each jar comes with a provenance card detailing the farm, the beekeeper, and the floral source.
Large branded honey allocation (corporate gift packs)
The Champion tier receives approximately 150 jars (250g each) of premium branded honey per year, plus access to custom gift pack configurations. We can produce branded gift boxes with your logo, a farm provenance card, and optional inclusion of beeswax products. Designed for client gifting at scale, conference giveaways, and end-of-year corporate gifts.
On-farm client entertainment
Host your own clients, key accounts, or stakeholders on the farm for a curated experience. This is not just a staff team-building visit. This is a hosted event where your guests meet the beekeeper, tour the apiary, taste honey, and experience the conservation work your company is funding. Ideal for client relationship building, board offsites, or media events. We handle all on-farm logistics. You bring the guests.
First access to new initiatives and farm regions
When we expand to new farm regions, launch new products, or develop new programs (schools outreach, retail partnerships, etc.), Champion partners hear about it first and get the option to be attached. This gives you a strategic advantage: your brand is associated with the growth of the network, not just a single farm.
Guided farm visits for up to 25 people
A full half-day farm experience for up to 25 staff. Everything included in the Partner tier visit, plus a longer program with a honey tasting session and Q&A with the beekeeper. Multiple visit dates can be arranged throughout the year. We provide all protective equipment, safety briefing, and catering coordination (catering at your cost).
Best suited for
National brands with dedicated sustainability and marketing teams. Companies that use client entertainment as a relationship-building strategy. Organisations that want a centrepiece conservation partnership they can report on at the board level. Businesses that value dedicated support and founder-level access.
Full transparency
Where your money goes
Your partnership funds the placement and ongoing maintenance of real hives on a real farm. That includes hive equipment, bee colonies, protective gear, beekeeper pay (above industry rates), regular inspections, branded honey production, content creation, and the biosecurity systems that keep the bees healthy.
Honey produced from the hives generates revenue that funds the growth of the network. We are upfront about that. It is part of what makes this model commercially sustainable instead of dependent on sponsorship alone.
No hidden costs. No vague "general fund" allocation. You know which farm your hives are on, which beekeeper manages them, and exactly what your money built.
